Zoe Robyn is a writer, director & graduate of NYU Tisch.

She currently lives in LA, where she writes on CBS’ HAWAII FIVE-0 (Season 7-8).

Shot on location in Paris, Prague, Vancouver, Florida & Manhattan, Zoe’s short films, commercials and long form work have starred James Roday (Psych), Dulé Hill (West Wing, Psych), Stephen Root (Office Space), Joanna Kerns (Growing Pains), Neil W. Casey (Saturday Night Live, UCB NY), Chris Gethard (IFC, Comedy Central), Moha Elachi (The Incredible Hulk), and Christopher McGuire (300, Scott Pilgrim). Her commercial clients have included Alessi, Fritz Hansen & Shift2, and her work has been showcased in film festivals nationwide, on the homepage of FunnyorDie and distributed across VOD platforms.

Notable collaborations include directing a pilot presentation for executive producers Mel Damski & James Roday (PSYCH), and Cy Amundson’s short film Saving Ron Babcock, starring Cy Amundson, Maria Bamford (Louie), Steve Agee (New Girl) and Lucas Neff (Raising Hope)

She is a regular director of original digital series for Toronto-based Smokebomb Entertainment and has helmed two seasons of MsLabelled sponsored by Tetley Tea and Shaw Media, which garnered a Digi Award nomination, and their upcoming series V Morgan is Dead sponsored by RBC. She is also currently in development on an original series for TV with Bell Media & Shaftesbury Films. Her adapted feature screenplay Penance was optioned and will be produced by Brightlight Pictures in Vancouver.

Zoe was made the youngest full director member in the Director’s Guild of Canada after directing original web content & second unit for Syfy’s HELIX, and has subsequently directed second unit for Fox’s SECOND CHANCE. She most recently directed an episode of PBS‘ ODD SQUAD.

She is a graduate from Tisch School of the Arts where she was honored as Bachelor’s Representative. She attended York House School in Vancouver, Canada where she graduated as Valedictorian.

She is represented by Sean Barclay (GERSH) in the US, and Carmen Bonnici (PACIFIC ARTISTS) in Canada.
